Ancient Druid protection symbol: Guided Spirit
The ancient Druids were the builders of Stonehenge and the holed
stones (were they trying to build skate wheels?) which are found throughout
the Celtic crescent, presently the British Isles and Northern Europe. These
magnificent structures steeped in astronomical significance were defended
by the Celts with a legendary fury. In warfare, they painted their entirely
naked bodies blue, swarming over their enemies. Many of the current Christian
holidays and practices were adapted from the Druids by the Romans at the
dawn of the first millenium. Design on blue.
