Alchemy series: 3 Principals
Alchemists searched the bounds of their knowledge as they
tried to turn lead into gold. The three principals they believed explained
the nature of all matter in the universe were based on the by-products of
smelting metal.... Sulphur (burning), Mercury (volatile) and later, Salt
(ash). Today, though we know much more about the make up of the cosmos,
we still have not found the essential element(s) that comprises all things.
A quest by artists, philosphers and scientists alike, the mystery eludes
us.
Exploring our world includes the joy of play. As a symbol of the search
for knowledge of all things, and knowing that skating, or any worthwhile
activity which leads us to know ourselves and our place in the universe
is righteous, we offer these designs for you.
